What do you do with a degree in Physics? My answer was "manage a Biology Research lab at a Natural History Museum and go swing dancing a lot." Eventually, this ceased to be a satisfactory answer. After a Masters Degree in Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York, I quickly realized that I was being asked to solve Interaction Design problems at my Industrial Design job... and so I went about becoming an Interaction designer to be able to solve those problems. I've had the good fortune to work with such diverse companies as Panasonic, Best Buy, LG, Yamaha, Hearst, Motorola and Abbott. I'm passionate about iterative engagements with users and stakeholders. I find it makes things better.
